What the role is:The incumbent will be part of the project team to plan, implement and oversee transmission mains laying and other infrastructure projects to enhance the water supply network to meet future water demands. The duties and responsibilities include:What you will be working on:

• Implement, procure, administer and manage Network Expansion projects and related contracts to ensure timely, delivery of projects in accordance with Contract, safety and budgetary requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate, consult and obtain approval from all relevant stakeholders to implement water network projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attend to feedback from stakeholders and agencies and take necessary actions to resolve issues to ensure smooth implementation of projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess progress claims to ensure that they are in accordance with completed works and duly processed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support to officers on contractual matters and handling audit queries. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other administrative duties include developing workflows to streamline contract administrative work processes and keep track of the Division\'s project administrative matters.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Civil Engineering. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in project management of infrastructure projects including procurement and contractual procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent, result oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) and Security of Payment Act. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of structural concrete, steel and geotechnical design to Eurocodes will be an added advantage.
