Enterprise Architect - (220000CR)
Description

You will be the Enterprise Application Architect in the Enterprise Architecture Office and architect Income’s IT landscape. You will conceive application architectural patterns and matters for making digital experience a reality for our clients. You will be collaborating with IT and Business counterparts, and credibly guiding them to meet evolving market trends and aligning to our target architecture. You have deep and hands on experience designing and developing loosely coupled, distributed, microservice enabled, cloud native systems. You have a proven track record of governing application architectures, and understand the efforts and activities needed to build and deliver these solutions. You naturally collaborate with strategists and creative teams to workshop ideas, requirements, and define future digital experiences. You have overseen technology governance across delivery teams through the full software delivery lifecycle. You can transform waterfall models into agile and iterative environment. With your understanding of new and emerging solutions, you are comfortable architecting, recommending and governing digital solutions for our business, considering their vision and existing technology landscape.
Primary Responsibilities

• Lead IT Strategy and Roadmap matters aligning to the business requirements, target state architecture and regulatory guidelines
• Be a trusted architect advisor to the management team and give direction to guide the teams in solution design and implementation. Knowledge of technology trends and provide thought leadership to the business
• Collaborate and influence solution architects across the delivery teams on design and architecture matters to align their solutions as per IT EAO objectives
• Create, communicate, and collaborate Architecture Principles, Guidelines, Considerations and Patterns for all the capabilities across business, technology, and operations teams
• Drive application architectures and design from several viewpoints and modelling them at different levels of abstraction to support business, application, technology, devops and security domains
• Assessment of current and target states of the architecture to align with strategic or tactical objectives and to develop recommendations to close the gaps
• Define a comprehensive transition plan with architectural thinking to align our mission and vision in innovative ways to deliver positive results to the business
• Present/improvise roadmaps and architecture landscapes to senior stakeholders. Designs UML, ER models for application and database teams, translating application requirements into component and interface specifications
• Evaluation of technologies, software, processes, development methods, and defining best practices in the selection or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data
• Ensures services adhere to enterprise architectural principles - reusability, modularity, loose coupling, ease of use and security with high quality application performance, availability, scalability, and integrity
• Perform quality review / audit of application design and deliverables, leading work sessions and deliverable presentations with business stakeholders
• Manage architecture and technology governance committee agenda for solution approvals through the architecture office forums like Architecture Work Group, Technology Governance Workgroup and Design Authority

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 years IT experience and 5 years in application architecture, strategy and architecture governance
• At least 5 years design & development experience in web & mobile applications and SOA technologies
• Work experience in Insurance and Banking industry preferred, but mandatory
• Excellent in working effectively in a multi-tasking environment, ability to prioritize competing tasks
• Fluency and efficiency in creating technical architecture documentation, presentations and stakeholder pitches
• Expert in Use case (UML) modelling, integration techniques and architecture insights tools
• Experienced in technical skillsets of some of the technologies: Java, JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, .NET, UI, API, ESB, BPM, SSO, AWS, Azure, Containers, Automated Testing, BI, ETL, Data Warehousing
• Familiar with Agile, DevOps, Data Analytics, Microservices Open API, and Cloud Services
• Appreciate user experience, digital transformation and familiar with some of these: Jira, GitHub, TFS, Chef, Jenkins, Puppet, Splunk, Ansible, Telematics, Blockchain, Serverless, AI tools, etc.
• Proficient in handling complex technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques
