Position Overview:

The Enterprise Network Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of an organization's network infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of network engineers, ensuring network security, and optimizing network performance to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

Develop and implement network solutions that meet business requirements, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based networks.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

Network Security:

Ensure the security of the network by implementing and maintaining security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor network performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize impact on business operations.

Vendor Management:

Collaborate with vendors to procure network equipment and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Compliance:

Ensure network compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Extensive experience in network design, implementation, and management, preferably in an enterprise environment.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, proficiency in network security protocols and technologies.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of recent network and security technologies. Experience with routing and switching. Familiarity with datacenter networking and Ethernet networks. * Ability to manage network health, capacity, and lifecycle.
