Our Digital Strategy Sales teams focus on the next generation of the financial markets with a big focus on AI, ML and NLP. Our Solutions are focused on bringing the desktop of the future to sales and trading desks with our continued investment into AI/ML/NLP collaboration tools like Instant Bloomberg (IB), interoperability solutions and front to back office automation. The team covers all market participants and all asset classes which gives us huge exposure and learning\'s across many player types and workflows.

What\'s the role?
You will be the first Digital Strategy Account Manager in the APAC region. You will help drive the strategy on adoption of our digital products. You will work closely with the wider Enterprise Sales teams to position our solutions to Bloomberg\'s APAC clients to maximise the potential for revenue growth.

We\'ll trust you to:

  • Understand the client\'s business and key workflows with the goal of retaining our existing clients and identifying opportunities to generate new revenue for our digital products
  • Build, own, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suites and senior management, utilising these relationships to understand strategic business objectives and requirements, and to work with them in achieving their goals
  • Become a key partner of the client\'s in-house team, where our client will see you as a true partner to help them achieve further digital transformation
  • Be an internal advocate across APAC for Digital Strategy and bring many different departments up to speed on what we are trying to achieve
  • Partner with Bloomberg Product Managers and Engineers to support strategic client development needs and organise the deployment of new features
  • Make sure our existing APAC clients are utilising our technology fully and mitigate the risk of any removals
  • Provide leads to the sales teams and work closely with them on closing new deals, securing revenue for the organisation
You\'ll need to have: --
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the Financial Services or Financial Technology industry
  • Experience in a client facing role, selling or supporting financial markets technology solutions such as Bloomberg or other similar solutions
  • Working experience and knowledge of financial markets front-office workflows and operating models
  • Keen interest in digital transformation and automation technologies and trends
  • Consultative sales skills, including competitive lead generation, prospecting, business development and closing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex client engagements concurrently
  • Experience in building and maintaining high-quality client relationships both externally and internally
  • Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills in English
We\'d love to see:
  • Prior experience successfully selling ML/AI/NLP solutions
  • Understanding of technology connectivity solutions such as APIs and FIX
  • Awareness and understanding of regional business and sales nuances across the APAC region
  • Business proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, to support our clients in the Greater China region
