Our client is a leading International Main Contractor with an outstanding track record in delivering top quality Tunnel, MRT, Expressway, Airport and Rail Projects. Due to another contract win, they need a suitably experienced and qualified Environmental Control Officer to join their team.
Duties & responsibilities:
- To be successful in this role, you need to have a ECO certificate with history working within any civil/infrastructure, rail/highway projects and LTA projects.
- Familiar with the ECO scheme in the construction site.
- Submission of Environmental Control Programme to N.E.A
- Submission of Environmental Control Report to occupier on fortnightly basis.
- Advise Management on the changes in WSH act and other legislations including Environmental issues and violations.
- Maintain site conditions according to the company\'s Safety and Environmental Management System.
- Liaise with QECP on environmental matters
- Update ECO bi-weekly Inspection checklist to LTA.
- Conduct safety site coordination meetings, group meeting & attend monthly WSH Committee Meeting & provide technical inputs on safety implementation
- To investigate any incident, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease to find root cause & recommend corrective & preventive action to prevent reoccurrences of incident
- To prepare incident report & submit iReport to MOM as required of WSH Regulation
- Liaise with NEA on legal matters
- Daily check for disposal of food waste, siltation of drains and other environment matters.
- Training and educating the workers on maintaining good environmental health standards.
- Minimum at least 3 years of experience after achieving the ECO certificate
- With experience in LTA preferably MRT projects.
