Freelance

We are looking for English Speech & Drama Teachers and/or MOE-registered Teachers who can ideally commit 4-5 days a week on a long-term basis (at least 18 months). Job description details and requirements can be negotiated to better suit the candidates\' situation if long-term commitment is possible.

For Employment Pass Holders, PRs, and You have to be residing in Singapore with eligible documents

- ESD Teachers & MOE-Registered Teachers:

• Attend required orientation sessions and shadow teaching sessions to understand the flow of a lesson
• Attend training sessions / meetings on a weekly basis (exact date & time to be confirmed based on your availability)
• Carry out the lessons, following the Step-by-Step Scripted Curriculum designed and developed by the Company
• Collect teaching material kits, Step-by-Step Scripted Curriculum, teaching props, a portable Chromebook, and other materials to use during classes
• Manage children\'s engagement throughout the lessons and ensure classroom disciplines.
• Expose and encourage children to immerse in storytelling, play acting and The Arts using storybooks, music & movement, and dramatic play
• Assess children\'s learning progress at the end of each Term using the Company\'s digitised e-assessment tools
• Assist NAC-Approved Teachers in carrying out NAC Programmes at schools for children (ex: assist with the use of music players / speakers & props in class, etc)

Working hours:
(For ESD Teachers only) Mostly afternoons from about 2PM - 6PM during weekdays at preschools.
(For Teachers with MOE Registration) Mornings from 7:30AM - 1:30PM during curriculum time at Primary schools.
(For Teachers assisting NAC-Approved Teachers) Mornings to conduct NAC Programmes during curriculum time 7:30AM - 12:00PM at preschools.
Additional transportation allowance / performance bonuses can be provided.

Benefits & Locations:
Competitive teaching rate starting from $50 per hour.

Job Requirement

• Supportive, friendly and outgoing personality
• Previous experience working with young children
• Previous teaching experience would be a plus
• Able to commit till the end of the 2023 school year and beyond
• On-the-job training will be provided if necessary
• MOE-Registration is a plus
