Job Description

As a Desktop Application Infra Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, operating, and maintaining application infrastructure services to meet business needs and application requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, performance, and security of desktop environments across the organization.

• Working hours : Monday- Friday 8.30am- 6pm
• Working location : Pasir Panjang
• Salary Package : Up to SGD8500 (basic) + AWS

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain desktop applications and related infrastructure.
• Monitor and manage desktop application performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop applications and infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce security policies and best practices for desktop environments.
• Collaborate with IT, development, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of desktop applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for desktop application configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into application infrastructure design and services, ensuring availability, capacity, resiliency, security, and continuity.
• Oversee daily delivery and support of application infrastructure services.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
• 3+ years of proven experience as an Application Infra Engineer (Desktop) or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and desktop application management.
• Prior experience in Government Technology agency is a must
• Oversee daily delivery and support of application infrastructure services.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for desktop environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to desktop management.
