Position Overview:

We\'re on the hunt for a marketing and communications pro to join our dynamic event agency. We\'re looking for someone who is passionate about events and has a knack for creating buzz. As our Event Executive (Marketing & Comms), you\'ll be responsible for making sure our events are seen and heard by the right people. This is a unique opportunity for a student or recent grad to get real-world experience in the events industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies for events, including media outreach, social media, email marketing, and advertising.

Build relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure coverage for events.

Manage the creation and distribution of event materials, such as press releases, event invitations, and promotional materials.

Track and analyze event data, including attendance, ticket sales, and social media engagement, to inform future marketing and communication strategies.

Collaborate with the event planning and production teams to ensure that marketing and communication strategies are aligned with event goals and objectives.

Manage the event\'s social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.

Develop and manage event budgets, including all marketing and communication expenses.

Attend events to support on-site marketing and communication efforts and build relationships with attendees and media.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

A few years of experience in event marketing and communications (or a strong desire to learn).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Social media savvy, especially on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

A team player who can also work independently.

A passion for events and a drive to succeed through innovative marketing and communication strategies
