Event Manager

Job Description


This position reports to the Director and interfaces with a team of contractors and other event crew. The event manager plans directs and oversees venue operations and events such as festivals conferences ceremonies cultural events exhibitions formal parties concerts or conventions, etc.

Individual to be involved in:

  • planning and organising the range and mix of services or activities provided
  • ensuring that facilities are kept clean and in good condition
- establishing and managing budgets - controlling expenditure and ensuring the efficient use of resources

Requirements: 1. Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and execution, with a track record of successfully managing events from initiation to completion. 2. Familiarity with event planning and managing, enabling effective coordination with contractors, event crew, and other stakeholders. 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective communication with clients, project teams, and stakeholders at all project stages.
