The Burnt Ends Restaurant Group is a hospitality company that has multiple restaurants in Singapore and internationally. Each of our restaurants focuses on wood-fire barbecue and believes that there is magic that comes from cooking with wood. Our first restaurant Burnt Ends is the acclaimed one Michelin-starred restaurant including Worlds 50 Best and Asia 50 Best listed, followed by 2 Meatsmith locations in Singapore and multiple internationally.Internal and external events, pop-ups and collaborations is one of our key tenets and we have an exciting opportunity for a sales driven Events Manager to join our Dempsey office team and work across our portfolio of some of Singapore's most iconic restaurants, bar, cellars and bakery, including Burnt Ends Restaurant, Bar & Lounge, Meatsmith Telok Ayer and Little India.: Manage sales, planning and execution of a mixture of corporate, social functions, internal and outside events to festivals and pop-ups in a scale range from 20 up to 1,000 guest exclusive use events.. Driving event sales and building year on year client database.. Oversee planning and execution of events.. Communicate effectively, coordinate, and liaise between internal stakeholders to external clients and event partners. Provide event reporting and forecast.. Always maintain a customer focus, responding to feedback positively and proactively. End-to-end client management during the sales process to planning and coordination of the function/event.. Responsible for pre and post event invoicing.. Analyze and discuss feedback post-events and review of best practices in all aspects of events planning process and execution.. Conduct familiarization visits and site-inspections proficiently.. Cross-sell Burnt Ends Pty Ltd venues.. Understand the revenue requirements, for each venue to be successful.. Understand the pace of business, including low and high revenue periods, impact of holidays and other industry pressures.. Manage and update internal events calendar. Manage event travel for chefs and talent hosted by Burnt Ends Pty Ltd.. Manage and support Burnt Ends Pty Ltd events share drives, including adding/removing accounts, updating marketing and event folders.. Submit N.E.A license documents for events and festivals.You will work closely with business owner and leadership team to execute business decisions, identify revenue opportunities, and provide an insight how to improve events marketing and events sales for Burnt Ends Pty. Ltd.Requirements. Preferred to have strong event sales background and project management experience in food/beverage/hospitality. Strong organizations, time management and communication skills. Ability and thrive working in Singapore's competitive events market, being creative and solutions orientated.. Strong writing ability and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Email, Calendar and Office skills.. A can-do attitude team player with the ability to cope in a fast-paced environment..
