The EVF Project is the cornerstone of Sanofi Pasteur's strategy as it aims to create a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable, and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address the challenges of the vaccine business. Within the EVF project, the training team led by the EVF SGP Training Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the training strategy, processes, and systems that enable EVF to fully leverage the skills and talents of all staffs. The training team also manages GMP Training to ensure staff are competent to deliver products for patients/& customers in accordance with Sanofi's standards. To fulfill this responsibility, the training team and EVF business functions shall work together, ensuring proper evaluation of training needs, development or acquisition of materials, accurate assignment of training, qualified delivery of courseware, ongoing assessment of knowledge application, and maintenance of data to illustrate individual qualification. The site training team's vision is for all trainees to have the knowledge and skills they need to do their jobs with 100% success. Under the direction of the EVF SGP Manufacturing 4.0 & Operational Excellence Head, the EVF SGP Training Manager is responsible for: Creating an integrated training strategy and organizational development/performance management processes to provide both EVF sites - brownfield location (Neuville, France) and greenfield location (Tuas, Singapore) - with top quality talent to meet current and future needs. Creating and continuously improving the EVF's training programs that include a blended learning approach of coaching, classroom training, hands-on training, and e-learning. This role is key in ensuring knowledge dissemination and retention and its sustainability through multi-skills development of people in technical areas. Key accountabilities The EVF SGP Training Manager is responsible for establishing the overall training strategy at both EVF sites (during the project phase) with the main goal of ensuring those working in GMP areas, and those supporting these areas, are qualified to do their jobs from project to routine manufacturing phase. Key Responsibilities: During project phase up to routine phase for both EVF sites - brownfield location (Neuville, France) or/and greenfield location (Tuas, Singapore): Develop and implement EVF training strategies to support business needs, organization, and individual development Work with global and cross-functional teams to establish training objectives and initiatives that translate the knowledge management strategy into actionable, goal-oriented plans Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of training materials and programs to meet the needs of learners at all levels within the organization Set up and develop site training team Build trainer community in EVF SGP, guide & coach the trainers and participate in their development Facilitate workshops and build facilitation skill of trainers and subject matter experts Identify the missing learning components to design an effective learning system: infrastructure, planning, learning approaches. Work with business leaders and managers across the business to identify skill gaps, training opportunities and develop/deliver training solutions Define and implement the EVF training roadmap Partner with department leaders, and HR Business Partners to identify skills and competencies needed to strengthen the company's business Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities and develop strategies that can grow EVF capabilities and engagement Develop and lead delivery, instructional design, partner programs and certifications Manage the Learning Management System Identify technical/leadership training needs to develop technical and leadership capabilities in EVF Provide training strategy consultancy to technical staff and non-technical staff as needed Develop and deliver training materials and curricula, covering a range of technical, operational areas in a specified field Contribute to the design & delivery of user guides & training modules Responsibilities during routine phase (including project phase responsibilities) for EVF site - greenfield location (Tuas, Singapore) Manage the site training system to ensure state of control and compliance readiness, including taking the lead during audits and inspections Compile, present, and interpret metrics and KPIs which reflect training system health Build and maintain working relationships with subject matter experts to create, review, and edit training materials, facilitating the timely accomplishment of learning related deliverables Lead strategic planning activities to proactively provide effective and efficient learning solutions to business areas based on individual and business needs Embrace a competency-based philosophy to learning plan development and drive organizational alignment with the competency framework Build partnerships within network sites, to evaluate, test, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives, such as the investment in content development tools, delivery methods, learning technology solutions, and the evolution of the overall training System Continuously assess current state environments and their effectiveness, understand future state needs, and define training plans, programs, or changes to ways-of working to address gaps Introduce new training ideas into the organization, adapt new ideas and convert them into approaches that meet training/regulatory challenges Create deliverables that show the qualitative and quantitative impact of learning programs on the business (dashboards, presentations, quarterly executive summaries and reports) Develop and manage training budget of the site Ensure effective use of all learning technologies, including digital tools, to facilitate virtual learning Be at the forefront of and assess new developments, industry trends, evolving regulatory expectations in area of expertise Impart best practices and learnings in area of expertise as part of a network of local and global experts Co-opt and manage external trainers, when necessary to supplement training needs and ensure quality support (training packages etc.) Ensure communication of all relevant training information to HR BP's and employees Support HR BPs in relevant HR initiatives (PDP, Coaching, Career Workshop, etc.) Skills and knowledge expected Excellent communication ability Good technical knowledge in designing, developing, writing content, conducting training curriculum and evaluating eLearning, job aids, video, or webinars Knowledge in instructional design and change management concepts Proven ability to work as part of an integrated, networked team, and collaborate across functional, organizational, and location boundaries and be people-first values driven Excellent analytical, consultative, and diagnostic skills with ability to make sound, data-based business decisions Engaging, dynamic Adaptable, relationship focused Self-organized Proactive, Result-oriented Education and experience Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, with 8+ years of experience in Training (delivering training and managing learning plans) with at least 8 years of experience in a GMP regulated environment Preferably with WSQ ACTA certification / Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) At least 5 years of professional experience in learning development designing training programmes, developing curriculum, and conducting instructional teaching in technical domain Good knowledge of adult learning andragogy in implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programs Proven work experience as a trainer, training facilitator or coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and change to improve efficiencies and the effectiveness of content development, delivery, and management Experience working with Learning Management System Fluent in English (writing and speaking) Experience scaling start-up environments is a plus At Sanofi diversity and inclusion is foundational to how we operate and embedded in our Core Values.
