What the role is:

MHA Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) aims to bring value to MHA by achieving operational excellence and being a strategic finance partner to MHQ and Home Team Departments (HTDs), underpinned by an empowered finance workforce.

What you will be working on:

You will be part of the Business Partnering and Capability Development team that creates strategic business partnerships to deliver value to HTDs. You will be responsible in managing requests and feedback from the HTDs in a timely manner. You will work closely with the HTDs to understand their business needs and strengthen engagement with them. In addition, you will track and report finance key performance indicators, and will be involved in finding innovative ways to re-engineer processes, with user experience in mind. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collect and manage feedback and issues raised by HTDs \xe2\x80\xa2 Arrange and provide staffing support for engagements with internal and external stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage stakeholders to understand their business needs and foster strong partnerships through regular touchpoints, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collect insights from HTDs into common requests to identify areas for continuous improvement, training, and additional communication \xe2\x80\xa2 Support system development and activities relating to the implementation of the new Service Request tool \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and maintain self-help tools (eg. virtual agent) \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify improvement opportunities and requests for additional services/capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and maintain the relevancy of the information in FSSC portal and suggest enhancements to improve users\' experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly monitor and analyse key performance indicators for necessary interventions and recommend follow-up to close performance gaps or non-compliance.

What we are looking for:

a) Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Qualification in Finance-related fields is preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience/training in stakeholders\' engagement is an advantage b) Attributes \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be a team player \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess keen interest in working with IT and systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to make sound recommendations in a dynamic environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Good analytical and critical thinking skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous with an eye for detail All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
