What the role is:

MHA Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) aims to bring value to MHA by achieving operational excellence and being a strategic finance partner to MHQ and Home Team Departments (HTDs), underpinned by an empowered finance workforce.

What you will be working on:

You will be part of the Business Partnering and Capability Development team that creates strategic business partnerships to deliver value to HTDs. You will be responsible in managing requests and feedback from the HTDs in a timely manner. You will work closely with the HTDs to understand their business needs and strengthen engagement with them. In addition, you will track and report finance key performance indicators, and will be involved in finding innovative ways to re-engineer processes, with user experience in mind. Collect and manage feedback and issues raised by HTDs Arrange and provide staffing support for engagements with internal and external stakeholders Engage stakeholders to understand their business needs and foster strong partnerships through regular touchpoints, etc. Collect insights from HTDs into common requests to identify areas for continuous improvement, training, and additional communication Support system development and activities relating to the implementation of the new Service Request tool Manage and maintain self-help tools (eg. virtual agent) Identify improvement opportunities and requests for additional services/capabilities Manage and maintain the relevancy of the information in FSSC portal and suggest enhancements to improve users\' experience Regularly monitor and analyse key performance indicators for necessary interventions and recommend follow-up to close performance gaps or non-compliance.

What we are looking for:

a) Experience Qualification in Finance-related fields is preferred Experience/training in stakeholders\' engagement is an advantage b) Attributes Must be a team player Good interpersonal and communication skills Possess keen interest in working with IT and systems Able to make sound recommendations in a dynamic environment Good analytical and critical thinking skills Meticulous with an eye for detail All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
