Our regional headquarters opened in Singapore in 1993, which now serves as the hub for our origination and merchandizing activities in the South & Southeast Asia Region, which spans across 9 platforms - Oilseeds, Grains, Rice, Freight, Global Markets, Coffee, Cotton, Sugar and Dairy - across 7 countries of Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Malaysia. Main accountabilities: The Execution Executive will handle all execution activities related to a business platform based at the Singapore Regional office. Issuance of contracts after trades are validated and communicate with the trading desk in case of any discrepancies Liaise with suppliers, internal and external customers, to plan and manage shipments according to the contractual requirement. Activities include following up on freight bookings and vessel tracking, checking the shipment plan, sending vessel nominations, sending/receiving shipping instructions, appointment of surveyors for loading and discharging operations, receiving/issuing letter of credit, sending/receiving shipment tenders, preparation and negotiation of shipping documents to ensure settlements are done timely and correctly Responsible for maintenance of the trading system, to ensure the contract execution status is correct and all relevant data is input correctly and on time Responsible for vessel laytime calculation, demurrage and insurance settlements for the shipments handled Responsible for tracking and closing of aging files (laytime and other receivables / accruals) Provide high value support to the business, anticipate risk, risk mitigation and provide solution to the business Knowledge, Experience and Skills required: Minimum diploma required (Degree preferred) in Maritime Studies or relevant field of study Minimum 2 years of trade operations experience, preferably in a commodity trading environment Knowledge of Incoterms, UCP/ISBP rules, UCP/ISBP rules and Charter party terms GAFTA and FOSFA knowledge will be a plus Knowledge of vessel laytime calculation preferred .
