The Role Responsibilities

  • As the Executive Assistant to Global Head, Cloud, you\xe2\x80\x99re at the heart of the operations and activities and the drive that keeps your team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your management team and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest in the team operations. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team\'s projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organised and dependable with an open-mind, a team player, quick to think on their feet and excited by fresh challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Executive Support for Global Head, Cloud
  • Calendar management \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring booking of meeting rooms with necessary conference requirements (i.e., VC, Teams, etc.)
  • Checks and approvals in Bank\xe2\x80\x99s online systems on behalf of the Global Head, Cloud.
  • Business travel administration: travel arrangements, T&E, visa applications.
  • Ad hoc admin support (i.e., tech, HR requests, etc.)
  • Understand key stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 relationship to Global Head, Cloud.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
Team
  • Plan, manage and execute logistics and administration for Cloud Team events, big room planning and activities.
  • Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks in a timely manner while maintaining careful attention to detail and meeting organisational deadlines.
  • Scrum Bench bookings in Singapore.
  • HR administration: Have oversight and support staff onboarding and exit processes in Singapore.
  • Financial administration: Invoice processes, payment tracking and vendor onboarding.
  • Business Continuity Administration: Department Crisis Coordinator for Singapore Cloud Team including BCP and BIA maintenance and submissions.
  • Assist Business Manager on workforce, operations and office management activities for the team.
  • Act as a point of contact for other departments and external suppliers, appropriately handling confidential information as necessary.
  • Strong awareness of and adherence to SCB policies (i.e., travel, T&E, delegated authority, etc.)

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Our Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
  • 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as an executive administrative assistant or in other secretarial position to Executive Leaders.
  • Certification in Project Management, Business Management/Administration or Secretarial courses.
  • Strong business acumen \xe2\x80\x93 you need to be able to learn the workings of the business.
  • Comfortable to deal with senior management across different countries and cultures.
  • A self-starter with a \'hands-on\' style, able to operate with minimal guidance.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Responsive with meticulous attention to detail (particularly in documents).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable, discreet and diplomatic.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests, navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment.
  • A team player who demonstrates good interpersonal skills with ability to prioritize workload and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and practical.
  • Able to multi-task and manage numerous deliverables effectively.
  • Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as an EA or other secretarial position.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
