Position Summary
We are looking for a
Bakery Executive / Assistant
who is capable of working
independently
, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for baking. This role is ideal for someone with strong
pastry skills
,
sourdough baking knowledge
, and a desire to be part of a creative, quality-focused team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of
pastries
and
sourdough loaves
to a high standard
Manage daily production schedules efficiently
Assist in creating and testing new recipes
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
Open or close the bakery as required
Support the head baker / team in day-to-day operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in baking, especially
pastries
and
sourdough
Ability to work
independently
and manage time effectively
Strong understanding of fermentation and sourdough processes
Passion for quality and attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Early morning availability (as and when)
Bonus Skills :
Experience in laminated doughs (croissants, danishes)
Creative flair for developing new pastry items
Previous experience in a similar bakery or artisan environment
