Job Description
What the role is:To support administrative and operation works related to Intellectual Property management, R&D grants and Continous Education Training (CET).What you will be working on:
- Handle administration and reporting of applied research work, including patents and other type of Intellectual Properties (IPs)
- Handle the billing and liaising with external holders for payment of IP licensing deals.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on Technology Transfer including Intellectual Property management, financial, legal and business aspects.
- Work with NYP Schools and funding agencies on Industry projects submissions, grants and CET administration.
- Track and analyse data relate to grants management, funding utilisation, licensing and other indicators for reporting to different agencies.
- Be involved in department\'s digitalisation drive via the use of existing and new technology (e.g. use of VBA or RPA to automate work processes).
- Provide a wide range of administrative and management support.
- Be involved in committees and project work.
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Life Science or related discipline.
- Meticulous, comfortanle working with data, good adminstrative and IT skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Resourceful, able to multi-task and manage changes.
- Good communciation and interpersonal skills, team player.
- Knowledge on IPs would be an added advantage.
