Position : Executive \xe2\x80\x93 Community Preparedness Branch

Contract period : 11months

Recommended salary range: $3500 - $4200 depending on qualification and relevant working experience.

Working hours and working days:

Monday to Friday : 08:30am to 6:00pm

Job Scope

The candidate is required to work in a team of staff officers under the Senior Assistant Director of the Community Preparedness Branch to assist in managing a host of projects and events in community management that involve equipping the public with emergency preparedness knowledge and skills. He/She is expected to liaise with external stakeholders in various collaborations with other agencies, such as the Save-A-Life Initiative. He/She will also be responsible for reviewing internal work processes to align with work objectives.

Key Deliverables

• Work with the team to manage SCDF\xe2\x80\x99s Save-A-Life initiative which involves liaising and building relationships with SCDF colleagues and external stakeholders in the installation and registration of AEDs. This includes the promotion of the initiative, including SCDF\xe2\x80\x99s myResponder App.
• Ensure the prompt and accurate reporting of myResponder statistics for documentation and/or meetings.
• Work closely with external stakeholders to materialise deliverables required
• Assist to man the SCDF VCPD Feedback (SCDF) and SCDF R-AEDI (SCDF) generic email accounts
• Assist in any other projects or work processes as required

Manpower Requirements

Our requirements are as follows:

• Past Experience in Government Administration preferred
• Strong communication skills (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
• Strong planning and organising skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
