Job Summary

The incumbent will hold a key role within the organization, responsible for the building projects under the Community Cluster. This role involves strategizing, planning, and executing various sustainability programs to create a positive impact on the organization, its stakeholders, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management


Plan, execute, and oversee sustainability projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor project milestones and address any challenges that arise.
2. Sustainability Strategy


Develop, refine, and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the organization's values and business objectives. Identify key sustainability goals, targets, and performance indicators to track progress and measure success.
3. Stakeholder Engagement


Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to build strong relationships and partnerships that supportsustainable initiatives. Engage with stakeholders to gather input, share progress, and foster collaboration on sustainability projects.
4. Social Responsibility


Develop and manage social responsibility programs that promote employee well-being, diversity and inclusion, community engagement, and philanthropic activities. Ensure alignment with internationally recognized standards and guidelines for social responsibility.
5. Reporting and Compliance


Prepare sustainability reports, disclosures, and submissions for regulatory and industry reporting requirements. Stay current with sustainability regulations and standards, ensuring the organization's compliance.
6. Innovation and Research


Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainable development. Research and recommend innovative solutions that enhance the organization's sustainability efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any field), Architecture, Business Administration, or any related field. Good project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Good-to-have experience in sustainability roles, with a focus on strategy development and implementation. General understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards (e.g., Green Mark, ISO14001), and best practices. Effective communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights. Supervising qualities with a track record of driving change and achieving results, to be able to manage the consultants. * Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and software, is an added advantage.
