Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications and Outreach, the candidate will play an integral role that drives issues and awareness of palliative care and end-of- life care through compelling stories and narratives. Through an integrated communications approach, the candidate will work with mainstream and online media to enhance visibility and presence of the organisation. -Implement communications strategies, campaigns and/ or initiatives to achieve the communication goals and objectives of the organisation
- Develop, curate and update content on DPH\xe2\x80\x99s digital platforms (social media and websites) and press materials (press releases, factsheets, speeches)
- Media monitoring and analysis of media coverage and social media content
- Facilitate media interviews and pitch stories to media (online and traditional)
- Produce and copywrite corporate collaterals such as Annual Report, videos, brochures and posters, e-newsletters, articles etc.
- Assist in corporate events in fundraising and outreach Job Requirements - Degree in Media and Communications, Mass Communications and Public Relations or related discipline
- At least 2-4 years of relevant working experience in public relations and corporate communications
- Social media savvy in managing social media channels (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and campaigns, including content creation)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (for media content handling and communication with Chinese speaking patients)
- Proficient in design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software
- Organised team player with a keen eye for details
- Good time and project management skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment Prior work experience in a Social Services Agency, Public Relations/ Integrated Communications agency or healthcare sector will be an added advantage Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary Salary: $2,800.00 - $3,800.00 per month Benefits:
