An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Executive Director for a regional bank in Asia. This role will involve leading bank\'s payments program in software and system development, supporting their services and banking operations.

Responsibilities

• Define the payments technology roadmap to support the business strategies, objectives and would have experience with wholesale banking domain and payments regulatory requirements.

• Build strategic relationships and alliances with stakeholders according to their company\'s business needs.

• Lead the program for all the regulatory requirements from the various countries and manage the requirements with business to ensure prioritisation, investment approvals, project deliveries and ensuring compliance for the bank.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 15-20 years of work experience in the financial industry with at least 8+ years of experience in a control function or in wholesale banking.

• Ideally someone who has product knowledge in the wholesale bank who has understanding of products such as cash, payments and channels will be preferred.

• Well versed in problem solving and process design skills and able to have strong understanding of technology and operational processes

• Strong understanding of business strategies and ability to translate them into achievable action plans

• Owns and enhances workflows and processes, and able to delegate clear accountabilities across the teams for delivery of outcomes

• Someone who is able to create an environment of learning and development for each other\'s success and failures allowing growth in personal and professional growth
