About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.
Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.
Job Responsibilities
1. Help business in setting appropriate risk appetite and early warning triggers for various PFS lending portfolios
2. Review policy, test proposals and strategy changes to increase/tighten risk to comply with approved risk appetite
3. Review compliance of risk policies/processes to group policies/standards/local regulations
4. Identify, escalate and work with local PFS risk team to mitigate portfolio risk issues
5. Drive best-in-class data analytics leveraging analytics tools deployed in the country.
6. Drive monthly/periodical reviews of various risk metrics to demonstrate adequate oversight over markets
7. Push automation/STP in credit underwriting/monitoring processes to improve efficiency and customer experience
Job Requirements
a) At least 12- 15 Years\' hands-on experience in managing retail credit risk
b) In-depth understanding of retail score models, policies and processes needed to manage portfolio risk
c) Basic understanding of underwriting and collection processes in driving risk performance
d) Ability to influence a large group of people to drive desired corporate outcomes
e) Excellent communication and presentation skills
f) Good stakeholder management skills
g) Hands-on data analytical skills using SAS/Python/SQL/ Decision trees will be an added advantage
