Job Description


Job Purpose

To develop and manage three Institute For Environment and Sustainability\'s (IES) executive education and training programmes:

1) ASEAN-wide sustainability policy fellows program;
2) Southeast Asia sustainability and governance challenges and opportunities: targeting Northern, global and transnational policy officials who seek to engage with, and help accelerate, decarbonization, biodiversity, and just transitions in ASEAN:
3) Capacity building within Southeast Asia with which to better shape and integrate Southeast Asian voices in global processes and policy initiatives.

Our focus on policy includes, but extends beyond, government, corporate, intergovernmental, transnational, and private standards setting processes that aim to accelerate sustainability goals, solutions and transitions.



a) Coordinate and manage IES\' existing training programmes on sustainability governance and policy in Southeast Asia.
b) Research, locate, and report on emerging executive education opportunities that IES can strategically offer in the short, medium, and longer-term.
c) Manage training registration and course operation workflows.
d) Handle queries from participants regarding course information, registration and payment.
e) Track registration and payment progress to ensure smooth commencement of the training programme.
f) Set up an expedient workflow for registration and payment while ensuring constant review and improvement of the workflow.
g) Funds management & finance operation of the training programme
h) Manage pre- and post-course administrative matters for each new programme to ensure smooth execution and running of all programmes.
i) Handle the logistics of training venue/refreshments.
j) Oversee the overall operation of each training programme to ensure all deliverables of the programme are met.
k) Work in tandem with LKYSPP Executive Education and NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (NUS-SCALE) to integrate IES\'s efforts.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Degree from a relevant discipline (or its equivalent).
  • Minimum two years of experience in similar capacities, i.e. coordinating and managing professional training programmes in the sustainability/environmental sector.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and teamwork competencies, that enable one to effectively conduct outreach and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
