Executive Engineer, Business Development Explosion Protection

Tasks

The successful candidate will play a critical role in explosion protection(Ex) testing and certification business. You will be responsible for technical pre-sales support, and project management of explosion protection projects as well as taking on industrial & energy product related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a product specialist to support our client's with all aspects of Ex testing and certification requirements. Derive test programs and technical proposal for clients, as well as calculation of time and cost to complete certification for sales team. Manage smooth execution of complex certification project related to Ex, industrial and energy products Provide internal and external trainings on Ex Manage product roadmap for Ex services in south east asia focused markets New product development to integrate Ex services with nascent technologies used in hazardous locations Handle key account management of selected strategic accounts

Key Requirements:

Minimum Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with at least 5 years of Ex and project management role, preferably gained in an international testing and certification organisations with IECEx ExCB / CBTL status or ATEX NB status Working knowledge in IECEx02/03/04/05, ATEX 2014/34/EU and 1999/92/EC is a must. Additional knowledge in Hazloc is advantageous. Must have handled at least 10 Ex projects with reasonable complexity in capacity of project handler or technical certifier, and have issued ExTR and ExQAR or ATEX EC Type examination and QAN. In depth knowledge of IEC 60079 series and IEC 80079 series is required. Expertise in intrinsic safety is advantageous. Additional IEC 61241 series is preferred but not a must. Experienced in handling projects in Zone 0 (Category 1) or for electrical equipment intended for use in Zone 1 (Category 2) Proven project management track records. Project management certification is preferred but not a must. Clear and articulate presentation ability with excellent communication skills Target-driven personality but with high level of diplomacy to influence management and decision makers Meticulous, resourceful and fast learner Work Area: Corporate Functions & Business Support
