Job Description

Join our forward-looking Risk Management team in MSIG Asia regional office, where we develop and implement best practice enterprise risk management framework across our business units in Asia. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals across various functions in the industry to identify, analyse, quantify, and manage existing and emerging risks.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain quantitative risk management models Assist the business units with capital assessment and reinsurance optimisation Work with business units to establish, maintain and continuously improve risk management capabilities including risk management training and workshops Identify, quantify, and manage insurance, investment and operational risks Act as the second line of defence, supporting key functional leaders across all functions in reviewing, updating, and monitoring key risks and in making risk-taking decisions. Support business units with risk reporting requirements for both local regulators and Head Office Collaborate with business units to establish, maintain and continuously improve risk management capabilities in the region Contribute to research and development on emerging risk topics and trends

Requirements

Degree (first class) in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or any other related quantitative fields Up to three years of experience in a quantitative role, preferably familiar with enterprise risk management frameworks, tools, and techniques. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. Knowledge of the general insurance business will be an advantage Detail oriented, excellent problem-solving skills; comfortable with learning new concepts Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable with meeting new people Highly motivated, committed and goal oriented
