Job Purpose :
Supports the Department during staff transition (AP and AR change portfolio), implementation of University\'s project (Smartbuy/SAP Ariba, Concur) and more internal checks, assist in financial year end close in general accounting duties, ensuring compliance with the College\'s regulations and policies.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Support the financial closing activities
• Process vendor invoices, Request for Payment (RFP) which includes verifying accuracy, obtaining approvals and performing account coding
• Assist in supplier registration in SAP Ariba
• Guide user on new system navigation
• Support internal check on procurement document before approval
• Any other duties as assigned
• Knowledge in accounting and finance
• Some procurement experience
• Strong follow up skills
• Technology Savvy skills
• Good interpersonal communications skills

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• - Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or Business Admin with relevant working experience in Accounts Payable and Procurement
• Familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Working knowledge of SAP Financial system and SAP Ariba will be an added advantage
• A meticulous team player with positive work attitude
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
