Primary Objective

• Assist the Unit Head in managing day to day operations of Financial Team.
• Support the implementation of bank’s projects and initiatives in the area of Financial Team.
• Provide cross support to other units within Channel Operations as and when required.
• Running day to day operations of Financial Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Head to supervise and manage the daily BAU of Financial Team.
• Perform Maker and/or Checker role for the processing of financial transactions.
• Ensure financial transactions are processed within agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs.
• Participate in regulatory/business enablement/process improvement projects, including providing requirements, UAT testing and implementation.
• Train and mentor junior and new hires in the team.
• Provide cross support to other units within Channel Operations as and when required.

Qualifications
Formal Education

• Degree from a recognized university or institution.

Preferred level of Experience (By years/function/industry):

• Min 3 years’ experience in in Back Office / Branch operations in the Banking industry.
• Min 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.

Other skills required:

• Strong knowledge of latest banking regulatory requirements with experience in handling and managing banking operations for the processing of financial transactions (Fixed deposit, GL entries, internal fund transfer).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong understanding of electronic banking platform and operating processes.
• Ability to work as a team player or individually.
