Responsibilities

Circulation and shelving of returned books Knowledgeable guidance in identifying resources for information need, regardless of format Asst in the promotion of information literacy and other workshops and events conducted by the library. Collection development duties and technical processing of books. Locker management National Library Board membership management

Key selection criteria

Degree in library science or Polytechnic diploma with appropriate experience Two years relevant working experience in a library Interest in facilitating learning Well-organized, detail oriented and responsible/mature Skilled in providing high quality customer service Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint

Workings hours are as follows:

Mon to Friday 8.30 am to 6pm



Important: Willing to cover night shift from 1pm to 9pm and Saturdays 9AM to 6PM whenever necessary
