Read more about NIE . NIE invites applications for an Executive position in the Visual and Performing Arts Academic Group (VPA AG). This is a 2-year contract post. This role will provide you experience in working in an Arts department in a leading education institute. You will have an opportunity to work with Arts faculty members, Artists and students of NTU and be part of growing our outreach to the community. - Providing support to admin functions in areas such as (but not limited to) General office administration and support to Admin Manager, Faculty and students of the department Assisting fellow admin staff in activities such as HR, Academic, Asset and Finance related matters Managing department outreach and engagement in areas such as (but not limited to) Coordination and planning of small-scale department events and outreach (such as End of Semester student performances, Exhibitions, Visiting Artist Programme, and conferences and dissemination of publicity) Requirements A Polytechnic Diploma. Preferably with minimum 1 year of relevant administrative experience in an education institution. Proficiency in MS Office as well as different communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet etc. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. This role requires eye for detail and an ability to multitask, work independently and effectively in a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion on faculty matters. Service-oriented individual with a pleasant personality coupled with a positive learning attitude. Closing Date The closing date of the advertisement is 21 October 2022.
