ROLES & RESPONSIBITIES

Responsible for running the day to day management of the policy services matters related to retail business.

The incumbent will support administering of inforce policy requests, including policy changes, illustrations/statements, payout transactions. Ensures that the primary objective is met in terms of the delivery of quality and efficient services for post sales transaction for inforced policies of all distribution channel are attended/processed within agreed SLA.

SYSTEM PROCESS

  • To proactively identify problems in system or workflow and process improvement to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in work processes.
  • Serves as the liaison and the reference point between the business and the technical analyst in making sure the requirements are clearly understood and translated to the functional requirements by leveraging on the resources and skill-set within and across work-streams.
  • Responsible to analyze processes and best practices to ensure the system is delivered with maximize synergies, quality and efficiencies.
  • To liaise and work closely with IS department in seeking solutions to problems identified.
  • To ensure business requirements are reviewed and signed off for system enhancement
  • To perform quality user acceptance on system enhancement/production fix and ensure proper follow through of issues till closure
PROCEDURE MANUAL/FORMS

To ensure relevant standard operating procedure manual are updated on a timely basis whenever there are amendments or updates. Transaction forms are reviewed for accuracy and relevance.

BACKUP SERVICES

In the absence of team members, the incumbent will provide support in processing service requests, UAT and other assigned task.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
  • Performs QA for manual transactions.
  • Other duties to be delegated to you from time to time.

  • Observe confidentiality of information and careful oversight of data
  • Compliance with regional and corporate HR guidelines

What we are looking for
  • Diploma/Degree from any recognized institution/university
  • Related insurance qualifications would be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in life insurance operations
