Executive Producer

Job Description

Together with the team that built 8 Ball Pool and Pool Masters, you will be the core project manager and liaison for one or more of our exciting game titles, driving the project from concept through live operation. You will be responsible for ensuring the game is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering a healthy, communicative, and empowered development team culture. You will be the central hub of information for all development and cross-functional partners.

As a Producer, you will be the core project manager and liaison for one or more of our exciting game titles, driving the project from concept through live operation. You will be responsible for ensuring the game is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering a healthy, communicative, and empowered development team culture. You will be the central hub of information for all development and cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities



Project Leadership & Execution



Roadmap and Schedule Creation:

Develop, own, and drive the full project roadmap, detailed schedules, and quality standards, ensuring alignment with overall studio and portfolio goals.

Milestone Management:

Expertly define, track, and assess project milestones, reviewing game builds, and synthesizing feedback from stakeholders into clear, actionable tasks for the development team.

Risk Management:

Proactively identify, track, and manage all project risks, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks, driving to resolution to keep development moving efficiently.

Budgeting:

Assist leadership in building and maintaining project budgets, tracking expenditure, and making cost-effective decisions without compromising game quality.

Team and Cross-Functional Collaboration



Primary Point of Contact:

Serve as the main liaison between the development team and all cross-functional partners (e.g., Marketing, Publishing, QA, Legal, Leadership).

Team Empowerment:

Mentor, motivate, and support the development team, guiding them toward continuous improvement and fostering a culture of ownership, autonomy, and excellence.

Process Optimization:

Champion the adoption of effective development methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and actively seek ways to drive out inefficiencies in workflows and pipelines.

Team Culture:

Work cross-functionally to build and maintain a transparent, communicative, and committed team culture focused on realistic, high-quality goals.

Product & Quality Focus



Quality Assurance:

Ensure the game meets high-quality standards and technical requirements through effective integration of QA and release management processes.

Game Champion:

Serve as an internal product advocate/evangelist, crafting and presenting project updates to various audiences, providing clear visibility into progress and challenges.

Required Qualifications



Experience:

5+ years of experience in game studio production, having shipped at least one video game from start to finish on mobile, console, or PC platforms.

Process Expertise:

Strong fluency in game development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices.

Tool Proficiency:

Proficient with project management suites such as

Jira, Confluence

, Google Suite, or similar tools.

Leadership & Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with the proven ability to influence without direct authority.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex development challenges and ambiguity.

Industry Knowledge:

Deep passion for gaming and an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, player preferences, and the competitive landscape.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

casual/party game Live Operations

and shipping continuous updates. Experience working with or managing

external development partners

. Familiarity with narrative-focused games or games designed around innovative gameplay.
