Job Description

:

The incumbent will help maintain and expand the network with community partners, corporates, and other social and community services to support the organization\xe2\x80\x99s needs. Spearhead, conceptualize, and implement volunteer programs/activities to ensure the delivery of quality service will meet the needs of the residents in a nursing home.

Your role & responsibilities will include:

• Managing all elements of volunteering within the organization
• Recruitment of volunteers
• Identify ways to sustain and improve partnered initiatives to build relationships to support the department\xe2\x80\x99s needs
• Able to develop and maintain networks and partnerships with various community partners
• Monitor, evaluate, and accredit volunteers
• Track and update records and maintain a database of volunteers and partners to ensure critical information is captured for timely submission
• Plan, organize, and roll out activities and programs accordingly to support resident\xe2\x80\x99s social needs
• Provide support in any other tasks as assigned
• May be required to work on Saturdays whenever required

Qualifications:

• Degree or Advanced Diploma in Social Work, Gerontology, or Service Sector disciplines
• Minimum 2 years experience in community healthcare settings in Singapore
• Hands-on experience in a community partnership role
• Good knowledge of the geriatrics and community services
• Sales Experience will be useful and welcome
• People-oriented, willing to work on the ground, and a passion to serve
• Ability to work with all levels and good people skills with a go-getter attitude.
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Resourceful in problem-solving and resilient in overcoming challenges
• Able to effectively work under tight deadlines and possess strong projects/events management skills
• Proficient in Google Workspace applications - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Google Drive
