Roles & Responsibilities Reporting to Manager, Quality Assurance, this position is responsible for ensuring that quality products are delivered to customers and products comply with international regulations, as well as assist in managing quality activities within the company.
Responsibilities:

• Handle customers’ complaints by coordinating investigation, analyzing results, following up on customers’ feedback, preparing report and following up on countermeasures to prevent recurrence
• Maintain records on customer satisfaction by gathering data necessary for the calculation of satisfaction score
• Calculate product capability (cpk) based on agreed customers’ specification and analyse the results
• Coordinate audit activities and follow up on audit items
• Prepare documents related to regulatory declaration and keep abreast on international regulations related to REACH compliance
• Prepare annual report for submission, and submit new REACH application as requested by the respective countries in accordance to the respective country’s requirements
• Work closely with the relevant stakeholders on the preparation of draft delivery specification
• Manage the Quality Management module in the SAP system inclusive of maintaining the master plan/list, managing all change requests, updating new parameters and following up on system issues raised

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline with at least 2 years of experience in the chemicals, petrochemicals, plastic manufacturing or a related industry
• Familiar with ISO9001 standards and handling of regulatory compliance
• Experience in quality control or process operations preferred
• Knowledge in Cause & Effect or Fault Tree analysis will be advantageous
• Good analytical, communication and written skills
• Self-driven, independent and resourceful
