Job Description

What the role is:
You handle building maintenance, ensure units get the material and services for missions, assist in policy reviews and keep Flotilla operations running smoothly.
What you will be working on:
- Handle building maintenance including defects, procurement and annual inspections to maintain facility readiness - Manage accounting, stock take and procurement to track stock levels for 100% accuracy in Flotilla - Process slow-moving stocks, prepare items for disposal if beyond repair, and raise purchase requisitions for work and services - Recommend approval and monitor requests for loan of stores - Assist Supply Manager in managing allocated budget to achieve 100% commitment and payment goals by financial year end - Oversee boats under your care and ensure high customer satisfaction - Support policy reviews and maintain operational continuity Challenge(s) - Managing diverse and unpredictable users' needs while staying within budget and policy constraints - Exercising judgement to identify critical requirements and balance budget, demand fill rate and inventory turn
What we are looking for:
- Education in Supply Chain Management is preferred - Proficiency in enterprise systems, procurement system and facilities management system is advantageous - Logistics and inventory management capabilities - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
