Executive/senior Executive Assistant, Finance Accounts Payable Payment & Analytics Unit (3 Years Contract)

Job Description
& Requirement
You will be part of the Accounts Payable Shared Services team for A*STAR Research Entities responsible for the following duties:
- Process payments to external vendors and inter-companies in accordance with SLA
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments routed to approvers for review and bank signatories per bank mandate for authorization
- Liaise and follow up with bank for payment verification checks, returned/rejected payments
- Perform month end closing activities such as postings for bank charges and foreign currency differences
- Monitor payments via Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) and ensure postings and clearing are processed in a timely manner
- Perform reconciliation for freight forwarders? payments
- Prepare forms for DDA arrangement or bank amendment instructions
- Participate in UATs for system enhancements and project rollouts
REQUIREMENTS
Background in Accountancy or equivalent finance and accounting qualification
At least 3 to 5 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a shared services environment
Resourceful, analytical, problem-solve and able to think out of the box
Able to multi-task and deliver results under tight timelines
Good command of MS Office applications
Knowledge of SAP system will be advantageous
A self-driven individual, who works effectively in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and writing skills
