Job Description

:Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the administration of all petroleum shipping and petroleum cargo documentation.
• Optimize, schedule and anticipate the berthing of vessels and daily terminal activities for customers, through planning, scheduling and coordinating, and be on call standby (24/7) and during planning period.
• Responsible in coordinating & meeting customers\' needs by promptly interfacing with Operations, Maintenance, HSSE, Jurong Port\'s Berthing/Operations/Project depts., and related departments.
• Manage customers\' expectations, complaints, incidents, and enquiries.
• Assist colleagues in the department to manage customer\'s logistic requirement including petroleum ship vetting and any logistical functions.
• Assist in the administration and procurement of all items required by the department.
• Responsible to administrate monthly closing and opening duties including data analysis and compilation to all counterparties, invoicing, and payment collection.
• Responsible for the administration of all dutiable and non-dutiable goods to report to Singapore Customs.
• Key User of the company\'s online system (Terminal Management System) including troubleshooting.
• Assist Head of Department/Commercial in research, management reporting, presentations, corporate affairs and marketing activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE or Diploma in any discipline.
• Candidates with no prior experience may be considered.
• Able to take ownership and make wise & timely decisions.
• Able to engage in critical & logical analysis and have good problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently even when in stressful situations, and as a co-operative team-member.
• Able to manage customers and authorities proficiently.
• Possess good communication skills (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably has a good understanding of petroleum products and oil storage terminals, Oil Storage Technicians (Operations) who are interested in a career progress/switch are welcomed.
• Willing to be on standby and/or to work after office hours when required.
