Executive/Senior Executive, External AffairsNTU\xe2\x80\x99s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is a leading medical school at the forefront of medical research and education. LKCMedicine was a collaborative effort between NTU and Imperial College London, as of 2023, the 18-year partnership has naturally concluded. Starting with the 2024 intake, the MBBS programme will transition to being solely conferred as an NTU degree. In response to this change, the Office of External Affairs was established to spearhead the establishment of new partnerships with international institutions. You will be the third employee of this robust team, offering substantial autonomy.The Executive will be based at the Novena campus, with occasional meetings at NTU. Based primarily at the Novena campus, with occasional engagements at NTU, the ideal candidate must demonstrate a capacity for independent work and a strong sense of ownership over a diverse range of tasks, from routine data entry to agile problem-solving. The Office of External Affairs works closely with all departments within the School and maintains a close relationship with the Office of International Engagement at NTU.This role offers a unique hands-on experience, providing opportunities to interact with a diverse array of individuals, not limited to academics. As the department is still in its infancy, there is also a lot of opportunity to develop and fresh ideas to be tested. NTU\'s supportive work environment includes provisions such as one work-from-home day per week, health screening, sporting activities, and access to training courses.The ideal candidate should possess a keen willingness to learn, have effective communication skills (both verbal and written), and enjoy strategising and coordinating with various stakeholders, while remaining adaptable to last-minute changes.
