The Marketing Communications Executive provides advertising, promotions and public relations support for various portfolios for Morning Star Community Services.
He/she develops press releases and media kits for distribution and collates responses to media queries. He/she coordinates engagements with vendors and creative agencies, working closely with them on marketing projects. His/her role includes managing contact databases, as well as conducting research on new technology applications to spur innovation in customer experience.
He/She supports the compliance of corporate brand guidelines across marketing channels and departments, conducts market profiling and analyses market findings and marketing channels to support marketing strategies formulation.
He/she steers the development of marketing content and collaterals for marketing campaigns, executes marketing and media-related activities and events, and analyses the performance of marketing campaigns. Innovative and resourceful, he/she keeps himself/herself informed on MSCS\'s services, market trends and major events and activities. He/she possesses good networking ability and is quick to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. He/she may be required to work irregular hours to support the execution of events and activities.
Key responsibility areas
Marketing communications and public relations:
Develop press releases and media kits for distribution to targeted media partners
Coordinate and collate responses for media queries, draft replies and talking points for media queries
Monitor social media platforms on user opinions and follow up with appropriate actions
Analyse media and market data to identify appropriate media options and key target audiences for communication
Coordinate & implement customer engagement efforts via digital and social media platforms
Steer the development of key MSCS collaterals (Annual Report, EDMs, videos, blogs, corporate branding materials, etc) and ensure adherence to brand and corporate identity guidelines
Upkeep and develop organization\'s brand:
Generate transmedia content across traditional and digital media platforms to communicate and position the MSCS brand
Maintain the performance of organization\'s website and digital and social media platforms and their adherence to brand guidelines
Support the development of brand guidelines according to the overall brand image
Report management:
Prepare marketing reports for tracking and analyses
Categorise contact databases according to target market segments
Report budget utilization and spending
Requirements
Diploma and Degree holders in Mass Communication, Marketing and Business Administration/Management may apply. We also welcome mid-career switchers.
2-3 years of experience in similar roles preferred
