Job Description


Job Purpose

He or she is to ensure timely and accurate administration of collections/ payments from drivers and corporate clients. Also, to improve revenues by reducing bad debt exposure through the direct management of credit terms

Responsibilities

Credit and Billings: Efficient Management of Drivers and Corporate Clients\' Billings:

  • Ensure the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of Credit and Billing are met
  • Ensure drivers and corporate clients\' billings are accurate and on time.
  • Collaborate with functional groups and IT staffs to improve billing processes and implement new drivers\' schemes and benefits payout.
  • Manage cashless payment system efficiently
  • Administer drivers\' rental and corporate accounts\' rate and levy maintenance tables
  • Perform final settlement upon drivers\' withdrawal/termination/ conversion
  • Ensure prompt and accurate bus charters term and ad-hoc clients\' billings
  • Attend to drivers\' queries and appeals relating to credit & billings matters.
  • Perform functional/screen design specification, user acceptance test (UAT), integrated system acceptance test (ISAT) on new system projects etc.
  • Review and improve the work processes for efficiency and continual improvement
  • Liaise with internal , external stakeholders and auditors on credit management related matters.
  • Provide staff training; performance feedback and coaching to achieve KPIs.
Credit Control: Efficient Management of Drivers and Corporate Accounts\' Debts
  • Candidate with relevant experience will be required to supervise a team of 4 staffs
  • Ensure the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of Credit Control are met
  • Monitor and control drivers and corporate client accounts\' outstanding.
  • Provide report (s) for management and explain monthly budget & KPIs variance.
  • Monitor staffs\' collection performance.
  • Ensure procedures and internal audit checks are strictly followed.
  • Identify irrecoverable debts and prepare write off paper for debts periodically.
  • Manage and review repossession and external collection agencies performance.
  • Reviews drivers\' debts portfolio to comply with the company\'s policy and identify potential lapses.
  • Attend to drivers\' queries and appeals relating to Credit Control matters
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Diploma or other equivalent qualification (Diploma in Business related discipline will be added advantage)
  • Candidate with at least 3 years\' experience in a supervisory position will be an added advantage
  • Able to converse fluently in English and Mandarin/Malay (to converse with our Taxi Partners)
  • Excellent mathematical ability
  • Experience in billings and/or credit control will be added advantage
  • Min 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
