What the role is
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment. We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.
What you will be working on
You will be part of a team that administers the Building Control Regulations and develops new strategies for driving digital transformation in the Built Environment Sector. You will be involved in: - Working closely with cross-functional teams involving internal and external stakeholders in the development of digital standards and solutions to support regulatory functions - Managing the development of the Automated Code Compliance Check project and its implementation - Reviewing submissions on building plans including designs related to safety, environmental sustainability and barrier-free accessibility
What we are looking for
- A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Building-related discipline - Thorough understanding of BIM applications in building projects with prior work experience related to BIM coordination, management and/or modelling in a design, engineering or construction firm - Good command of spoken and written English - Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills - Able to work independently as well as an effective a team player Successful candidates will be offered contract employment.
