About this role
This role as a Fa\xc3\xa7ade Designer, you will aim to develop key knowledge and skills that will allow you to provide a high quality of consultancy services. This may take the form of undertaking relevant modelling, analytical research, and design work within your relevant business area. An enthusiasm to explore and develop skills in all types of cladding, glazing, walls, and roofs that form modern building envelopes is essential.

What will I do?

• Assist in the delivery of detailed fa\xc3\xa7ade tenders
• Preparation of design drawings and produce details of fa\xc3\xa7ade systems based on architectural sketches
• Coordinate and monitor submission schedules to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget
• Coordinate with relevant parties to raise/resolve project related issues which could affect the delivery of the documentation
• Review and evaluate design deliverables to ensure buildability that is compliance

What will I bring?

• Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Architecture Degree with at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in drafting and designing aluminium systems in building, fa\xc3\xa7ade and sustainability design with consulting background
• Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the following design software

• Rhino (Intermediate)
• Grass Hopper (Intermediate)
• Revit (Intermediate)
• Sketch-Up (Intermediate)
• GSA or equivalent (Basic)
• AutoCAD (Basic)

• knowledge of the following design software will be an advantage to the candidate

• Strand 7
• IES (Basic)
• Ecotect (Basic)
• Therm (Basic)

• Good literacy, numeracy skills and Microsoft Office Suite
