As a Façade Designer, you will aim to develop key knowledge and skills that will allow you to provide a high quality of consultancy services. This may take the form of undertaking relevant modelling, analytical research, and design work within your relevant business area. An enthusiasm to explore and develop skills in all types of cladding, glazing, walls and roofs that form modern building envelopes is essential. . What will I do?

• You will assist Façade team with the analysis of information, production of designs and computations.
• Preparing of specifications, proposals and other documentation under supervision. In achieving this you will apply a variety of standard methods and techniques in solving problems.
• Accountable for submitting a high quality of work that is accurate of which may take the form of routine letters; reports; standard documentation; presentations, etc
• Lead the technical / design input on such projects and ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard.
• Researching technical/design applications and/or procedures; and playing a key support role to senior staff members in all formal and informal training-related activities.

What will I bring?

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Architecture Degree or similar area;
• Relevant industry experience in building, façade and sustainability design (including internship) within a consulting business environment;
• Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership;
• Ability to maintain personal effectiveness particularly during periods of higher than normal workload
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments;
