DESIGNATION : Facilities and Maintenance Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES
Building Maintenance

• Responding to the requests of occupants with regard to mechanical or maintenance issues
• Evaluating and repairing issues as they arise and communicating with Supervisors when outsourcing is necessary
• Requisitioning the necessary supplies, equipment and tools, monitoring inventory and working within a budget
• Ensuring safe working practices and that a building is in compliance with safety and quality regulations including maintaining fire, smoke, carbon monoxide and other safety systems
• Conducting regular inspections to determine which areas in the building need attention
• Overseeing contractors and other workers who are unfamiliar with a building’s layout
• Keeping maintenance schedules and records up to date

Kitchen Equipment Repair and Maintenance

• Plan, manage, supervise, co-ordinate, monitor and recommend to management a schedule for the planned preventive maintenance and ad hoc day to day maintenance and rectification to the equipment.
• Source and manage suppliers and service providers, establish an effective maintenance program for production machinery.
• Ensure all production equipment’s availability and in good working conditions.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain kitchen equipment at optimum performance and be alert of any abnormal functioning or damages
• Will work closely with the contractor, supplier, and vendor, keeping track and control schedules and deadlines
• Attend any call related to M&E request by any party
• Identify the spare parts required to settle these issues and settle these issues safely and quickly
• Keeping maintenance schedules and records up to date

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of building maintenance & regulations, general carpentry, plumbing, electrical and D.I.Y. building works
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Proficient in MS Office such as Word and Excel, knowledge on I.T. equipment (e.g. LAN, modems, wireless communication).
• Good organizational, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Willing to work weekday nights and weekends when request.
