Job Description

The Role





The role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all plant systems, including but not limited to HVAC systems, utility / facility systems, electrical systems, BMS, security systems, instrument calibration and fire alarm systems etc. to the highest industrial and pharmaceutical standards.



Responsibilities




Handle and manage daily operations and rectifications of faults, conduct regular audits of building and M&E facilities and works, and ensure quality work is carried out on schedule.

Attend to service requests such as changing faulty lightings, ceiling boards and other repair works on site.

Oversee contractors and their work quality.

Assist the Engineering Manager to implement the quality maintenance program and comply with regulatory requirement, Almac global policies and EHS requirement.

Management of assets and equipment including spare parts inventory, monitoring of the stock card for use of consumables e.g. air filters. This includes hands-on repairs within the premises.

Monitor operations of building facilities (e.g. M&E, BMS System) daily.

Conduct engineering investigation for Quality related deviations and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement as well as implementing corrective and preventive actions to meet cGMP requirement and optimization of efficiency.

Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.


Criteria




Minimum diploma in mechanical engineer, electrical or building discipline

Able to use Microsoft suite

Able to multi-task

* Able to work independently with minimum supervision
