Facilities Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Jurong Island / Power Plant [LKH]

Our client leads in utilities services, energy and electricity markets, fuel management and storage tank leasing, as well as energy retailing \xe2\x80\x93 focused on providing energy solutions.
They are currently hiring Engineer to be part of Facilities team and responsible for the overall facility maintenance and improvements of our power plants.
Working location : Jurong Island, company transport provided.
Working hour : Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri 8am-5.30pm, Ad-hoc support might require

Responsibilities:

• Respond to work order requests and attend to buildings/structures or equipment faults
• Oversee the Facilities department\xe2\x80\x99s maintenance works; supervising the Sr. Technical Officers/Technical Officers and delegating works to them & allocating resources (e.g. manpower, materials, equipment & tools etc.)
• Lead the repair or replacements of the malfunctioning components of circuit wirings, conduits, lighting fixtures, receptacles, and switches
• Carry out and review facilities\xe2\x80\x99 maintenance programs and recommend actions when required
• Monitor and review plant infrastructures & implement long-term maintenance plans
• Prepare all maintenance work reports for management reporting weekly
• Prepare Purchasing Documents for the purchase of spares & the purchase of Work Services required to carry out the rectification works of the faulty equipment, faulty buildings\xe2\x80\x99 infrastructures etc. (e.g. preparation of Tender Specifications for service contracts such as cleaning, landscaping, pest controls, waste disposals, card access systems, lifts & sewerage treatment plants\' service & maintenance works, auto-gates/auto-barriers maintenance)
• Engage contractors and establish procedures to supervise and monitor the performance of contractors for the work services rendered (for service contracts or ad-hoc works)
• Oversee the maintenance of the security systems, building access controls, and surveillance equipment (e.g. Card Access Systems & Fence Intrusion Detection System/FIDS).
• Oversee the maintenance of the Power Plants\' communication systems such as telephone PABX systems, walkie-talkies, audio/video systems, etc.
• Oversee the set ups and tear down of all equipment & logistics for company events
• Provide full support to the Facilities team on ad-hoc tasks as and when required
