Remote location: Singapore. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in architecture, management, corporate real estate, construction, engineering, interior design, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in occupancy/office layout planning, program management and facilities management, hospitality, corporate services, and/or equivalent workplace management.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in program management with the ability to run projects, such as long term planning, short term moves, in order to meet the business needs of a site/region.
  • Experience developing and managing occupancy plans and scenario planning with strong data visualization, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong strategic, critical/analytical thinking, operational and services experience, including the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to suggest and implement creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions to existing and future issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong presentation skills, proven ability to influence at all levels.

About the job

In this role, you will engage with cross-functional teams to validate, project and plan for headcount changes to align with the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) strategies and facilities operations in the region. You will have a strong focus on proactive planning, partnering with the business, other other teams, and our vendor partner team to develop and maintain strategic occupancy plans across Asia Pacific. The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work - from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a pivotal role in facility service operations throughout the region including capacity and space planning strategies associated with office builds, expansions, and moves.
  • Serve as a key occupancy planning point of contact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders across REWS Functions to understand needs and drivers, collaborating with the vendor partner occupancy planners to track and document program requirements to develop well informed plans.
  • Manage and analyze data from various systems in partnership with the vendor partner occupancy planners to develop and communicate occupancy scenarios that drive optimal performance and workflow of the business.
  • Collaborate internally and with cross functional teams to develop analytical frameworks, processes and strategies for occupancy planning.
