As a Facilities Engineer, you will be involved in:

• Working with a team of technicians & inhouse contract work to ensure the day-to-day running of the facility utility processes.
• Monitoring all system performance for mechanical system (Fume Exhaust, Chiller and Compressor, Process Cooling Water System and Vacuum System) including energy KPI.
• Carrying out repair and troubleshooting of systems in order to restore systems to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time.
• Recommending and implementing improvement/enhancement projects where appropriate.
• Supporting new projects ramp up as well when needed - new tools hookup/ line breaking / fitup works.
• Formulating effective reporting and tracking systems for monitoring of system performance and capacity usage.
• Being responsible for the incident response, vendor management and interaction with internal customers.
• Working with in-house contractor to manage facilities related to timely repair and replacement work.
• Maintain full compliance with the prevailing legislative acts and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with manufacturing customer for calls regarding fault/alarm.
• Conducting regular inspections at all the critical facilities premises for potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions, initiate corrective measures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Profile

You are suitable for this role if you are/ have:

• Working experience at least 1-3 years on the same field
• Degree in Mechanical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Responsible and excellent teamwork player with good interpretation and communication skill
• Hands-on experience in day-to-day operation and maintenance essential.
• Good planning, supervisory and leadership skills
• Computer Literacy (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, MS)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of all relevant standards, legislations, codes of practice etc and ensure their compliance
