Responsibilities:A. Facility Management: * Maintenance and Repairs:
Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance and repair tasks.
Ensure that entire factory systems (compressor, machines, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning correctly and are regularly serviced.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and other facility-related documentation.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure the facility complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards.
Budget & Vendor Management:
Develop and manage the facility\'s budget, including expenditures for maintenance, repairs, and other operational costs. Constantly finding ways to reduce cost.
Select and manage relationships with vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, and repairs.
Implement and manage technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Stay updated on technological advancements and integrate new tools or systems that can improve operations.
Space Management & Housekeeping:
Plan and manage the allocation of space within the facility.
Maintain a strict housekeeping standard for entire factory
Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Coordinate with safety manager and SCDF and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
Sustainability Initiatives:
Implement and manage programs for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and other sustainability efforts.
Monitor and report on the facility\'s environmental impact.
Team Management:
Supervise and coordinate the work of facility staff, including maintenance personnel and cleaning staff.
B. Toxic Waste Management * Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all hazardous waste management practices comply with local regulations
Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to practices and procedures.
Waste Management:
Develop and implement waste management plans and procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of toxic waste.
Supervise and manage waste management personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Oversee the collection, segregation, and storage of hazardous materials.
Coordinate with licensed disposal contractors for the safe disposal of toxic waste, including treatment and final disposal methods.
Maintain accurate records of waste generation, handling, storage, and disposal activities.
Develop and promote strategies for reducing the generation of toxic waste through waste minimization
C. Operations Management:Process Management:
Streamline Operations: Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Quality Control: Monitor and improve the quality of products or services by establishing and enforcing standards.
Team Management: * Supervision: Manage operation workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success and make data-driven decisions.
Supply Chain and Inventory Management: * Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock and optimize inventory turnover.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on operational performance, issues, and achievements to senior management.
D. Quality Management: * Quality Assurance and Control:
Develop Quality Standards: Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures for production, service delivery, and operations.
Process Improvement:
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in processes and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance quality.
Customer Satisfaction:
Feedback Management: Collect and analyze customer feedback to assess satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
Issue Resolution: Address quality-related customer complaints and work to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain Records: Ensure accurate documentation of quality control processes, test results, and compliance records.
Quality Inspection:
Develop and implement OQC procedures to evaluate product quality before release.
Requirements:
Degree in Chemistry/ Mechanical/ Engineering related.
Experience in production or toxic waste management.
