Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitation

Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping & mopping in all areas of the factory, such as production areas and staff resting areas. Clean and sanitize toilets and replenishing supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels). Empty trash bins and waste containers throughout the facility and dispose of waste properly. Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed. Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation across multiple locations as directed.

Exterior and Grounds Maintenance

Sweep up fallen leaves and other debris from walkways, parking lots, and the building's surrounding areas. Ensure all entryways and exterior paths are clear and free of litter.

Health and Safety

Follow all health and safety procedures and protocols. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure all walkways and emergency exits are clear of obstructions.

Ad-Hoc Duties

Fulfill ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job requirements:

Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, is a plus. Follow all company health and safety procedures in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and related regulations. Must be able to safely lift and carry items up to 15kg, in compliance with workplace safety standards. Role involves regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting tasks as part of daily duties. Comfortable working in a factory environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, and machinery. All necessary training and PPE will be provided.
