We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fiber Migration & CBN System Senior Engineer to be in-charge of CBN and FO cable migration from existing system to new system for EWL communications.
What we seek to accomplish together:

• Manage and design the fiber migration plan.
• Manage and take part in site installation, testing and commissioning of fiber optic cables on the track side of train rail
• Handles the routing design of FO and Comms cable on the track
• Plan the scheduling of migration projects
• Co-ordinate with civil contractor and other system wide contractors (SWC) for the site installation work
• Manage the co-ordination of authority on the fiber migration plan and progress
• Overall in-charge of the team working on FO and Comms cable migration in station & depot site (including subcons)
• Plan and co-ordinate site migration work with site contractor
• Responsible for the review of method statement and risk assessment for submission to authority and operator
• Responsible for the decommissioning plan for existing FO and Comms system at existing train station

A little about you:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with M&E and A&A work of train station and site installation work
• Experience with CBN and fiber migration in Rail environment
• Experience with site installation design and installation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidate with BCSS and Work at height qualification will be a plus
• Able to work independently and has the capability to drive the site installation work with various vendors, contractors
• Candidate who has in-depth knowledge on fiber migration would be plus
