The

Field Application Specialist responsible for providing applications support to existing customers, coordinating and performing product demonstrations for prospective customers, developing new applications through collaborations (industrial or academic), troubleshooting technical problems, and training customers in the use of our products.


This position reports to the Sales Manager (SG & MY) and is part of the commercial team located in Singapore and will be a remote role (with office presence when required).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Provide technical and application support to SEA dealers and direct customers, integrating instruments, assays and connectivity solutions into customer laboratories, supporting customer during the evaluation and implementation Provide demonstration of instrumentation, software and reagents to current and potential customers. Jointly develop account strategies with Sales Representatives aimed at increasing business and retaining current business. Active involvement in pre-sales activities to support business development by conducting technical seminars and presentations at customer sites, trade shows and workshops to drive thought leader adoption Follow normal standard of work for documentation such as customer complaint handling to ensure total customer satisfaction and facilitate the dissemination of tech application /marketing info to the SEA team.

The essential requirements of the job include

Degree in biotechnology, immunology, Life science, biological science or related scientific field experience Experience in the field of Flow cytometry, automation or experience as Application Specialist is prerequisite Excellent analytical skills Good presentation skills Ability to travel - average 40% travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

High ability to work independently without supervision combined with high customer and team orientation Excellent communicative and sales and customer service oriented Rigorous, organized, pragmatic, resourceful, excellent sense of contact with all hierarchical levels,
